Damien Roos is an author and playwright with an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. His work has appeared in such outlets as The Denver PostNew South JournalGulf Stream Literary Magazine and Gravel. He is a former editorial fellow for Guernica Magazine, a former reader for PANK Magazine, a member of the National Book Critics Circle, and has just completed his first novel, Sounds of Leaving. By day he works in homeless outreach with Homeward Bound. He lives in Asheville with his wife, blue nose pitbull and ancient black cat.
